Fixed Heat Detector with BaseThe Fireboy-Xintex Heat Detector uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature around the detector. This heat detector was designed to detect how fast the temperature is increasing.Features:163F Fixed Heat DetectorHousing: White flame-retardant polycarbonateTerminals: Nickel-plated stainless steelIdeal in environments that are dirty or smokyUnaffected by wind or atmospheric pressureRemote test featureSpecifications:Detection Principle: Measurement of heat using a thermistorSampling Frequency: Once every four secondsSupply Voltage: 8.5 V dc to 33 V dcSupply Wiring: Two wire supply, polarity sensitivePower-up Time: < 20 secondsMinimum: detector active voltage: 6 VHolding Voltage: 5 V - 33 VMinimum Holding Current: 8 mAMinimum Voltage to Light Alarm LED: 5 VAlarm Reset Voltage: < 1 VAlarm Reset Time: One secondAlarm Indicator: Integral indicator with 360 visibilityOperating & Storage Temperature: -40C to +70COperation:Open-web casing that enables air to flow freely across a thermistor which measures the air temperature every two secondsA microprocessor stores the temperatures and compares them with pre-set values to determine whether a fixed upper limit - the alarm level - has been reachedDetectors the microprocessor uses algorithms to determine how fast the temperature is increasing
