Automatic Charging Relay Plus – 160A – 24VThis 160A Egis automatic charging relay eliminates dead-start batteries by sharing charging on either of two batteries and isolating batteries when no charge sources are present.Applications:Supports multiple engines or independent charge systems by incorporating two independent start or engine isolation inputs to allow isolation of charge sources when both are active to maximize charging performanceProtects Electrical System Cascading Faults with an optional lock-out from closing if one terminal is connected to a battery with a shorted cellFeatures:Ultra-low power draw compared to typical ACRs (7-10 mA) vs. the 7610 ACR @ 1.3 mA will not deplete batteries even after extended electrical system downtime.Simple and robust installation – integrated sealed plug eliminates corrosion; includes Deutsch/Amphenol DTM connector harnessStart to assist input option to ensure maximum cranking amps are available by allowing manually connecting batteries via a remote switchBullet-proof construction – sealed unit, stainless steel hardware, and high-temperature materials allow mounting anywhere; Integrated thermal overload shutdown protectionAdditional low-amp output can be used to report device status remotely or drive a secondary relay for charge to a battery bank without a charge source (see examples)Specifications:Continuous Current Amps: 160Voltage Range (VDC): 16 36Off-State Current Draw (mA): 1.3Interrupt Current (Amps): 240AC Closing Voltage Range (VDC): 25.8-27.2AC Opening Voltage Range (VDC): 24.2-25.6Focal Features:Top Side Dip SwitchesAccessible after mounting for programming voltage settings and determining active features. Protected by self-retained cover.Stainless Steel Self-Locking Hardware100% non-ferrous corrosion-resistant materials. All attachment screws and nuts are self-locking.Integral I/O ConnectorSealed Molex MX-150 connector eliminates the susceptibility to corrosion and vibrating loose of 1/4″ quick connect terminals on competitive products.Connection OptionsComes standard with a Deutsch DT/AT style connector harness. Provides three connection options (MX-150, DT/AT, and wire leads).Easy Integration with RT Fuse Blocks (24 HR Circuits)Optional EasyLink bus bars reduce the space and cost of connecting TH Series relays with RT Series fuse blocks.LED DiagnosticsIndicates pending relay ON/OFF, under voltage, over voltage/temp, start isolation/assist, and output on/off status.WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
